Thomas Hoffmann joined H.C. Wainwright in May of 2021 as Managing Director, Investment Banking. He transitioned to Managing Director, Institutional Equities and Head of Corporate Access in June of 2022 leading the banks Institutional Engagement efforts. In May of 2024 he became Head of Institutional Equities. Prior to H.C. Wainwright he was a Managing Director of Solebury Trout / Solebury Capital which he joined in 2001. While at Trout his deep relationships with the Institutional investment community have helped many of the agency’s clients expand their reach to maximize shareholder value and raise capital with institutional investors, most often through PIPE transactions. Conversely, he also assisted clients based within and outside the United States in navigating the U.S. biotech markets and developing their U.S. investor marketing strategies.

Thomas received his MBA from the University of Augsburg in Germany. He holds FINRA securities licenses Series 24, 7, 79 , 63 and SIE.
